The first validation activity assessed the feasibility of the Green Route Operations concept developed within ATMACA. The study investigated how enhanced air–ground communications could support environmentally efficient flight operations by enabling the timely exchange of operational information between airborne and ground systems. The results confirmed the consistency of the operational concept and its alignment with the SESAR vision for more sustainable aviation.
