The ATMACA-SESAR project continues to progress at full speed throughout the summer! On 17th and 18th of July 2025, ATMACA partners gathered for the 3rd consortium meeting in Madrid, kindly hosted by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Over the course of two productive days, both the Project Management Board (PMB) and the Coordination Meeting were held. The meeting focused on several key areas:

• Reviewing the current progress of the project and key milestones achieved so far
• Discussing the main outcomes and deliverables developed during the first half of the project
• Finalizing and aligning on the Validation Plan, including emulation and testing strategies for ATMACA’s mobility capabilities
• Strengthening collaboration between technical and operational teams across the consortium

With solid groundwork laid, the ATMACA team is now moving confidently into the testing and validation phase — an exciting step towards demonstrating the value of multi-link mobility and robust session management for the future of Air Traffic Management.
