The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) recently hosted an internal event at the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering (ETSIAE) to introduce the ATMACA-SESAR Project (Air Traffic Management and Communication over ATN/IPS) to undergraduate and master’s students.
During the session, students learned about:
- The main objectives of ATMACA-SESAR — advancing air traffic management and aeronautical communication through cutting-edge technologies.
- The key challenges in the aviation domain.
- Progress made by the project so far
This initiative not only showcased a real-world European innovation project but also inspired young minds to explore research and development opportunities in aviation and aerospace.
A big thank you to the UPM team for their dedication to knowledge sharing and student engagement!
