The ATMACA HMI was further assessed through role-based Human-in-the-Loop simulations involving operational air traffic controllers. Realistic operational scenarios were executed to evaluate controller workload, situational awareness, usability and operational acceptance of the proposed communication services. The results demonstrated that the ATMACA concepts can be effectively integrated into controller operations while supporting safe and efficient decision-making.
